M5s, cosa cambiare / 2

The new statute approved with a blitz without any discussion before the 2018 primaries concentrate power in the hands of the political leader and his staff. Who devised those rules (it seems that the lawyer Lanzalone wrote them physically) considered that a centralized guide in a few hands could make the m5s more efficient. In fact, after a year of government, this was not the case. And it was a mistake, by almost all the members, not to say it in time and a loud voice. Parliamentary groups, for example, have been made dominated by the political leader and therefore by the government. They were not even free to present amendments. Too many times, they had to vote for trust without being able to blink. For those who preach direct democracy is a nice contradiction. The political choices must be discussed and approved in a collegial way. Parliamentary groups must count more. Dear spokesman, it’s time to get out of the silence.
